I currently offer one-on-one individual therapy to teens and adults. If you are looking for couples or family therapy, I would be happy to send you a referral to therapists in the community.

Length of time in treatment can vary and depends on several factors. The most important factor is when you feel ready to terminate. Gradually, we extend the length of time between our sessions until you’re feeling comfortable and confident to terminate therapy.

This, as well as, “why should I pick you?” Are probably the most important questions you may be asking yourself. Finding the right therapist is crucial for your treatment and growth.
Besides the theoretical frameworks I work with, I combine a person-centered approach with thoughtfulness and transparency. I’m a therapist but I’m also human. With thought and intention, I bring in some of my personal qualities in the therapeutic space; including humor, humility, and curiosity.

The same goes for therapists.
If my therapeutic style or approach is not a good fit for you or your needs, it’s not a problem. We can have a conversation about how to move forward and I can refer you to another therapist who may be a better fit for you.

Virtual therapy (telehealth) is an online form of individual therapy. I provide therapy through an online, confidential platform.
Some considerations to keep in mind when considering virtual therapy are:
Do I have reliable internet access and a working computer with a functioning camera and audio?
Do I have a safe, confidential space I can use each week for virtual therapy?
Telehealth gives you the flexibility to attend therapy without leaving your home (or other safe space).
Besides the considerations previously mentioned, individual therapy and interventions used do not differ when compared to attending therapy in person.

Yes, please remember to cancel or reschedule your session 48 hours in advance.

I speak English and Spanish and provide therapy in both languages.
We can also combine a little bit of both! Some words or phrases are sometimes best said in their original language.
